Design features:


The circuit consists of three parts: the first part is differential mode filtering, the second part is common mode filtering circuit, and the third part is insurance, equipped with a fuse holder. Fuses of different specifications can be replaced. The internal circuit of a two-stage composite EMI filter uses two-stage (also known as two-stage) filtering, resulting in better noise removal effect. It can effectively suppress the problem of rapid transient group pulse interference with a repetition frequency of several thousand hertz in certain user sites.

The input GND needs to be connected to the ground wire of the power cord, and can also be connected to the chassis casing.

Common knowledge of high-frequency electromagnetic interference EMI filters:

For high-frequency electromagnetic interference (EMI), generally three technologies can be used for power filtering to suppress interference noise. In practical use, two or even multiple technologies are often mixed. They are:

1. Add a capacitor between the live and zero lines of the power supply, that is, the X capacitor. X2 is selected to eliminate Common-mode interference, with a capacity range of 0.01UF -0.47UF.


2. Add capacitance between the power cord and ground wire, that is, Y capacitance. Select Y2 type, mainly to eliminate series touch interference, with a capacity range of 2200pF~0.1 μ F. To reduce leakage current, the capacitance should not exceed 0.1 μ F. This circuit board uses 3300PF.


3. Common mode suppression, common mode inductance (suppression coils on two power lines). When the rated current is high, the wire diameter of the common mode choke should also be correspondingly increased to withstand large currents. In addition, increasing the inductance appropriately can improve the low-frequency attenuation characteristics.


4. Differential suppression, differential inductance, suppression of serial mode interference between power lines.
