Il Ryzen 7 H 255 è un chip della famiglia Hawk Point ed è una versione aggiornata del precedente Ryzen 7 8745H. Dispone di 8 core (16 thread grazie al supporto SMT) che possono raggiungere una frequenza fino a 4,9 GHz, insieme alla potente iGPU Radeon 780M.A differenza di Zen 3, Zen 4 offre il supporto AVX512 insieme ad altri miglioramenti come cache/registri/buffer più grandi su tutta la linea.

De momento está siendo un muy buen producto la calidad de sus materiales es bastante buena y por el precio que pude adquirir realmente no hay otra cosa mejor totalmente recomendable viene bien empaquetado y con todos sus accesorios

Levering uit Spanje, was zeer snel geleverd.Het item heeft een ruwe reis achter de rug.Gelukkig biedt de verpakking genoeg bescherming.Item was een barebone en heb deze uitgerust met 1 32GB DDR5 5600Mhz module van Crucial.En 2 SSD’s van Crucial.Wat opvalt is dat het toestel gemakkelijk is voor aan te werken.Geen ingewikkelde toestanden.Toestel gaat gebruikt worden voor Proxmox.

Processor performance is similar to a 7735HS (other miniPC owned) and temperatures are lower (max. 73C on CPU and 39C on RAM) since this one uses a better cooling system due to an increased dimensions which allows a bigger secondary fan. I cannot test 3D performance but it would be the one expected for a 780M iGPU being greater compared to the 680M on the 7735HS.
Installed Windows 11 LTSC IoT without issues and all drivers have been downloaded using SDIo (Snappy Driver Installer Origin) through an ethernet connection, then the WiFi and Bluetooth devices are properly recognised.

Arrived extremely quick. The packaging is of very high quality. I put 32GB DDR5 5600 and installed CachyOS with Steam. Games run really well in Linux. 60fps on ArcRaiders @ 2560×1080 which was surprising. Left the metal shroud for better airflow and seems to run fairly cool. It has space for 3 NVMes which I was pleasantly surprised. When I have some time I will try to connect an external GPU with Oculink which should make it even faster.

Added in 64GB Crucial 5600MT/s SODIMM, 3x Kioxia 1TB Gen 4×4 SSD’s – 2nd and 3rd in Gen 4×2 mode.
Installed Windows Server 2025, with Hyper-V on the Gen 4×4.
Hyper-V VM’s on a mirrored storage spaces volume using ReFS on the other two SSD’s.
Installed most drivers using SDIO. Video drivers require putting the OS into test-signing mode and editing the display driver INF.
Whisper quiet under use.
CPU uses ~5w when idling.
Coupled with a JetKVM, it should be fine to replace an old SuperMicro Xeon D-1541 SuperServer.

Arrived in 3 days. Box suffered a little damage but the PC is well protected inside. Very nice little system that appears well built. Was able to boot up and begin using the system after installing my components very easily. Runs cool and quiet upon first testing after modifying fan speeds in BIOS. Power adapter is very small and standard! Lots of ports and expandability, I will be happy with this system for many years I hope!

I bought the unit without RAM and without an SSD. I added a 1 TB drive and another 512 GB drive with retro games.
The Windows installation went smoothly. So far, the mini PC runs stable and quiet. I’m thinking about replacing the thermal paste on the CPU, but maybe I’ll do that next year.
This little computer works perfectly as a “multimedia base” for the TV, for older games, and even for some newer ones — as long as you stick to Full HD and not the highest settings. It handles web browsing and 4K video playback without any problems.
Pros:
– small (though there are smaller ones)
– quiet on auto settings
– good performance for such a small box
– OCULink port
– three SSD slots
– stable so far (no freezes, no slowdowns, etc.)
Cons:
– the case is entirely plastic, except for the metal plate covering the fans
– Bluetooth range (in my case max. 5 m)

very powerful and fast mini pc, has improved copper heatsink cooling, bios fan settings can be adjusted by turning smart fan control and changing system and cpu fan to different percentages, i done 20% on both since this makes it quiet sunce dont game. 3x nvme slots, usb 4 works well and oculink is a bonus.

Ce mini PC est vraiment parfait, En utilisation pour le bureau ou pour les jeux, soit avec un dock et une carte externe branché en oculink. Ou soit avec la carte interne radeon 780M avec le choix de prendre de 3 go à 12 go pour le GPU sur les 32go de DDR5 installée. Pour ma part mon jeu préféré Company of hereos 2, les graphismes à fond en 1080p avec le radeon 780M avec 8go et en 4K avec les graphismes à fond avec une carte Nvidia 1660 super avec 6go branchée en oculink.
Aussi j’obtiens un score de 1083 points au bench CPUmark99(je sais c’est vieux, mais cela m’a permis de voir l’évolution de la puissance de tous les processeurs que j’ai acheté depuis le pentium 90, k6 133,etc…). Sur mon dernier Pc de jeu avec un i7 11700 je n’ai que 883 points au CPUmark99. Donc 200 points d’écart avec le Rysen 7 H 255 c’est énorme.
