Greg Minnaar’s signature tire – the Maxxis Assegai – provides tenacious, predictable grip across the entire profile no matter the lean angle. The Assegai can be used front and rear for a surefooted feel or as a front paired with a faster rolling rear tire.

Maxxis Assegai 27.5 2.5 3C foldable vacuum outer tube high-strength DH surpasses DHF DHR
The Assegai tires were designed and tested by UCI champion Greg Minnaar in the 2017 season. The tire pattern combines the advantages of DHF and DHR, allowing Assegai to ensure grip and braking force in more exciting road conditions. Thick tire pattern particles adhere tenaciously to the tire surface and will not easily fall off even under the friction of rock and sand. Moreover, Assegai’s mud removal performance has been greatly enhanced through special design optimization. Assegai is prepared to face more unknown challenges
